Read general information such as:
Dr Deshmukh offers an early morning clinic at the Church Avenue Surgery on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings running from 7.00am to 8am.
Please contact reception at either surgery to book one of these appointments.
Dr Karkare does a late night clinic from 6:30pm to 8:30pm every Monday alternating between Church Avenue and Burnt Oak Lane.
Please contact reception to book one of these appointments.
Outside of normal surgery hours (between 18:30 - 08:00 Monday to Friday) advice and access to a GP is available by dialing 111.
When you call this service your problem will be assessed promptly and you will be given advice or it will be arranged for a GP (from the Hurley Group Provider) to ring you back or arrange to see you.
The Urgent Care Centre at Queen Mary's does see minor injuries and minor ailments. Since 2014, it has been run by the Hurley Group, staffed by Nurses and some GPs. The previous provider, GRABADOC based in Shooters Hill no longer provides an out of GP service to Bexley residents.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. For example, chest pains, significant shortness of breath or a suspected stroke constitute an emergency.
